What to do if you can’t save contacts on Android?

To export your contacts from Android and save them to your Google account, open the “Contacts” app and tap the “Menu” button (typically three vertical dots in the upper-right corner). From there, select “Export…,. Enter a name for the file containing your exported contacts and tap “OK” when prompted.
